Prison Ministry Pastor Saúl arranged for our mission team to minister inside a local prison. Three ladies from our mission team shared the Word and love of Jesus to about 20 women prisoners. They were anxious to learn more about God and His love for them. We prayed for several specific prayer requests. The ladies were encouraged and received hope in knowing that God loves and cares for them no matter where they are. Our time limit was 30 minutes so we had to talk fast. Four men from the team shared in three cell blocks. Their time limit was two hours and had time to minister to more inmates. They had about 50 responses from men eager to receive from God. We referred the ones that needed follow-up ministry to Pastor Saúl. (Photos were not allowed.) |
Ministry Trip to Manzanillo One of Saúl’s churches is in the town of Manzanillo, which is about 90 miles from Puerto Vallarta and has a population of around 100,000. He sent Randy, Charli and Kevin Sidener there to minister. Randy ministered the Word and the Holy Spirit moved. Over 50 people came forward for prayer. Pastor Saúl sent two drivers with us as it was an all night drive back to Puerto Vallarta. We left Puerto Vallarta at 11:30 a.m. — began church service at 8:00 p.m. — left Manzanillo at 11:30 pm and arrived back in Puerto Vallarta at 5:30 a.m. The local pastor’s name of that church is Rigoberto Vicchis Hernández. He is 25 years old and began preaching when he was 14. Rigoberto told us several times how honored he was that we would come so far to minister to him and his church body. |

THE 4TH ANNUAL AVIATION MISSION CONFERENCE! Have you ever wanted to go on a short-term mission trip? Now is your chance and you won’t need to leave the U.S.! We are doing an outreach to the Hispanic Communities in Tulsa in conjunction with the Conference. Hispanic restaurants and small businesses are showing up all over Tulsa. The Tulsa Chamber of Commerce estimates the Hispanic population will grow to 43, 900 by the end of 2003. We do not organize these conferences just to have another conference. We are being obedient to do what we believe God is calling us to do. This Conference is to benefit others that God has hand picked to attend. Such as:

| Jesus sent His followers to make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19). Jesus turned out to be more than the King of the Jews to the 12 Disciples; He was the international Christ, the Savior of the entire world. Actually, Jesus had been showing them this since the beginning of His ministry. Matthew recorded again and again in (8:10; 15:24; 12:14-21) Jesus’ work among the Gentiles (nations). Yet the disciples had a hard time believing it. Could their Lord really be interested in “all the nations”? They certainly weren’t. Are we? It’s easy to pay lip service to the idea that Jesus cares for the whole world. But isn’t it easier to follow a Christ that fits comfortably into our own culture? |
--Matthew 28:19 |
|
--Leviticus 19:34 |
One of the greatest challenges believers will face in the coming years is the same that the original disciples faced at the inauguration of the movement; not only to believe but to accept that Jesus really is for all the nations. As the gospel spread to people of different cultures, there was always the danger of believers going their separate ways. That’s why Paul challenged Christians to pursue unity with the body of Christ and charity among the people of the world (Romans 11:13-24). |
HOSTING AND ORGANIZING A CONFERENCE AND OUTREACH COST MONEY. Would you please pray about giving a donation toward this tremendous project?
