for a facility to be used for Student Housing. He Provided!
|
God began leading us to open a Storehouse Account for
Student Housing. At that time we didn't have a clue of what type of a facility God was going to
to provide. Two weeks later, God led us to an apartment building that was confirmed to be our
next step as the current provision for Student Housing. As we took our first step of obedience in opening the Storehouse Account (Malachi 3:10), God honored that by bringing a six-apartment building. Now it's time for the next step-renovating each apartment. Even before we had time to get the word out about this project, except by word-of-mouth, God was proving Himself by calling people to help. Local people have given their time in labor in cleaning and painting, installing air conditioners, counter tops, and doors. We're praising God for the response and support we're receiving. This is a major project and as usual Charli and I cannot do this alone. As we step out in faith, we believe God will send the resources to complete this project. Please join us as we plant our seeds of faith, knowing that God has big plans for the students He is sending to Alpha Aviation. Any one of these students could make the difference for an entire country. You could play a part in changing a country for the gospel. Thanks

We have leased a six-apartment building to be used for student housing... As part of our lease agreement, Alpha Aviation is responsible for renovationg the apartments. It's located only seven miles from the hangar. Each apartment has one bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and a walk-in-closet. The layout is very suitable for two students in each apartment. The first apartment is renovated and two of our AMT students move in... Thanks to a generous supporter! Other students are coming, from as far away as Fiji and Argentina. We sense an urgency, to be ready, to meet the needs of the people God is sending. |
The estimated cost to renovate one apartment is $3,700.. This includes paint, new entry doors, new carpet, new counter tops, installing showers, tubs, medicine cabinets, mini blinds, smoke dectectors, fire extinguisher, new sinks, new faucets... After the apartments are renovated, they have to be furnished.... Furniture, appliances, air conditioners, linens, dishes, flatware are needed, to name a few... You may have these items left over from past garage sales or just setting around not being used. If so, maybe they would work for student housing. When these are completed, we will be able to house 12 students comfortably. We will renovate one apartment at a time as God provides the resources. |
